“Long gone Female” actor Lisa Banes dies 10 days right after staying hurt in a strike-and-operate in New York Metropolis

“Long gone Female” actor Lisa Banes died 10 days soon after becoming hurt in a hit-and-operate incident in New York Metropolis, police said.

The 65-year-old Banes, who was  struck by a scooter or motorbike while crossing a avenue on June 4, died Monday at Mount Sinai Morningside Clinic, a police section spokesperson stated.

Banes appeared in various tv shows and movies, which includes “Long gone Girl” in 2014 and “Cocktail” with Tom Cruise in 1988. On television, she experienced roles on “Nashville,” “Madam Secretary,” “Masters of Sex” and “NCIS.”

Her supervisor, David Williams, claimed Banes was strike as she was crossing Amsterdam Avenue on the way to go to the Juilliard University, her alma mater.

Police have made no arrests.

Singer Jill Sobule, a close close friend of Banes, was amid quite a few celebs who reacted to the news on social media.

“Lisa Banes was spectacular, hilarious, and massive-hearted – always served me through the challenging times. She was so beloved by so several,” Sobule tweeted along with a picture of her with Banes.

Seth MacFarlane tweeted that “her phase existence, magnetism, talent and expertise have been matched only by her unwavering kindness and graciousness towards all of us. A huge decline.”
