MCDOWELL COUNTY, NC (FOX Carolina)- The McDowell County Sheriff’s Business says that a suspect was charged with a number of crimes linked to larceny and breaking and entering.
According to the sheriff’s office, a woman entered her residence together Worley Street to obtain a person inside of the house. The female then fled the scene and termed 911, according to deputies.
Deputies arrived and positioned the suspect standing just outside the house the tree line on the home. Immediately after chasing the suspect into the woods, deputies eventually caught up with the male.
The sheriff’s business claims that the man resisted arrest and assaulted a detective. Deputies say that while arresting the suspect, they recovered methamphetamine and a firearm.
MCSO claims that the suspect also broke into autos near the house as perfectly as a risk-free inside of the property.
In accordance to the sheriff’s business, 52-year-old David Eugene McKinney was billed with a few counts of breaking and entering into a motor car or truck, one particular count of breaking and coming into, a single count of larceny breaking and coming into, possession of stolen goods, larceny of a firearm by a felon, safecracking, possession of methamphetamine, resisting a community officer, assault on a government official, and habitual felon.
